Time Stops

Life in California has always been known to be swanky, beautiful and hot. Well, I don't feel it...
Okay, maybe the California description was a little bit off... but I can surely say that i'm not getting any swanky but rather sulky by the minute!

Shae-Hui (Wei Foong's gf) visited this weekend for an interview, now Wei Foong is in Boston for a few days, and Shae Hui is in LA to visit her relatives. That leaves the entire house to me. I'm telling you, the loneliness is giving me the dead brainz!

My schedule has been usual; wake up, surf a little, watch TV, eat, and apply to jobs every once in awhile in between them all. It has been two weeks already and today I finally got my first interview. I was pretty excited and I've been preparing for it. The interview went pretty well, and I just hope for the best.

Other than that, I've been watching the Food Network and learning up some new recipes and I hope to implement some food projects. Here's one I recently implemented with Shae Hui:

Point of no return! The ingredients are going into the oven, regardless! That's Shae Hui with the funny face.

Walla! Crab and Ricotta Cannelloni

The search for a job is a pretty difficult task. Unlike selling books in the summer of 2005, I have no control over who will even want to talk to me; whereas in the summer, I can follow leads, customize my presentation to different customers, and show the selling point and close the sale in a snap! But if there's one thing in common about job searching and selling books, they are unpredictable. I just hope with patience that unprecedented calls for interviews will popup like crazy and have the chance to secure a position.
