Slipping sleep

It has been a long time since I put in an all nighter. It’s finals week and mine ended today with little hope of getting a good grade. Then again, I gave it my best shot. Some say that giving your all is what matters. I agree to a certain extent. If you’re satisfied with the effort put in but don’t produce results, effort is put to waste.

Coming back to my sleep pattern, I’ve not slept for more than 50 hours since Sunday! Yet, even with my exams over, why am I still awake at 4:20am?! It baffles me… but let me tell you what I’ve been up to.

Got back from the torture chamber (a.k.a the Exam Hall), watched TV, made some phone calls to friends who I’ve not talked to for a long time because of my busy schedule, watched several ‘South Park’ episodes on my computer, read the news on several websites, checked and managed my account balance, SORTED MY TRASH between paper and plastic (as you can see, there’s something totally wrong with me), and reorganized my music folder. Seriously, I’m really not the kind that does all these in one go. Is it psychological that our defense mechanism takes place in times of realizing poor results? For example, some people eat non-stop, shop like crazy, sweep the floor. As for me, at least I’m putting it to something useful if that’s the case. Odd!

Well, it is getting pretty late, my eyes are droopy, my head hurts, yet I don’t feel sleepy even all the signs of a body breaking down due to lack of sleep is observed. Insomnia, unlikely; Anxious, probably; Excited, most definitely!

Good night.

Burned out!

Right now I'm preparing to face one of the biggest challengest of my academic life... ECE311 & ECE438 (Electromagnetics and Digital Signal Processing respectively). Touted as one of the toughest EE subjects in the USA is offered to Purdue undergrads (aka HELL!).With less than 12 hours to go, and too many chapters to catch up, I see very little hope that I can survive this war. My brain has saturated to a point that it cannot churn out anymore power. I'm dead!

Oh how I wish tomorrow ends as soon as possible! It really is hell! Please pray for my grades... or I won't graduate in time... I'm emotionally stressed and even thoughts of suicide just flashed before me. I'm just sick of it... SICK OF IT!!!

I hate popup blockers!!!

I actually wrote a very informative update only to be deleted when the page reloaded once I enabled popups on my browser!

Geez... 1/2 hour of writing gone to waste! Imagine all that creativity... *ahem* ... is wasted in the hands of technology, when it was supposed to make lives easier.

AarGh!!!

But put it simply from what I wrote:
- Nicol David is world #1 ranked squash player after winning the World Squash Championship
- China buys 150 Airbus A320 airplanes worth US$10
- The state of our economy

Maybe its a sign that forbids me to go into serious stuff when blogging.
